Zuckerberg voted as the top CEO in the World.

The social network’s employees gave Zuckerberg a thumbs-up for his leadership qualities. His approval ratings have climbed 14 percentage points from last year to 99 percent over the last 12 months. ”This guy is absolutely shocking me in how mature he’s behaving,” says Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter. “I think it’s impressive that Zuckerberg, who never had a job before and has had no formal training, is so articulate.”

Glassdoor.com, a career review and rating site, is out with their annual report on the Top 50 Chief Executive Officers and guess who has bagged the top spot this year? None other than the hoodie-wearing billionaire Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg!!

Every year Glassdoor surveys hundreds of thousands of employees at the country’s top tech companies to determine the approval ratings of their respective chiefs.

The list was based on the average approval rating a CEO received between February 25, 2012 and February 24, 2013.

Robert Hohman, Glassdoor CEO, said in a statement, “The CEOs who are more successful in gaining employee approval are those who paint a clear vision of what the company is setting out to achieve and how it’s going to get there.

“To be recognized by your employees as a strong leader also comes as a result of having a solid company culture that helps employees foster the skills necessary to move business forward and meet the needs of customers.”

Highest rated CEO’s
Among the tech leaders, SAP’s Bill McDermott and Jim Hagemann Snabe rose seven points from the previous year to grab the 2nd place.

Meanwhile, Qualcomm’s Paul Jacobs was eighth on the list, Google’s Larry Page with a 95 percent rating retained the 11th place, missing the top 10 spot for the second time in a row.

Salesforce’s Marc Benioff is in the 13th place, while Amazon’s Jeff Bezos received a 93 percent approval rating and rose to the 16th place. Oracle’s Larry Ellison landed in the 46th place and Dell’s Michael Dell in 49th place.

After being named the top CEO and garnering a 97 percent approval from employees in 2012, Tim Cook slipped to 18th place. According to employment site Glassdoor, Apple employees gave Cook a 93 percent approval rating this year.
